            WHY PALM OIL-FREE?
            We choose to formulate our soaps without palm oil, which is a common ingredient in soap and other bath products, because it is farmed in an unsustainable way and leads to the deforestation of rainforests (mainly in Malaysia and Indonesia) and displaces the natural habitat for 193 different species. In its place, monoculture palm oil plantations are formed which inhibits biodiversity. We opt instead for shea butter, which is wonderful for the skin and is a sustainable resource.
